Hi, I’m Alex! 

I’m passionate about leveraging data and technology to improve health. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. The focus of my PhD is to use machine learning and population-based data sets available in BC to prevent ovarian cancer. I have a clinical background as a registered nurse. My experience as a nurse motivates me because I understand at an experiential level the impact my work can have on the lives of individuals.
